About Us
Becci & Jake I think it was our love of reptiles that brought us together, or a non-feeding terrapin! It didn't take long before we realised we both have a huge passion for herps, I loved amphibians and Jake bought me two fire bellied toads. That was just the start and over a small period of time our collection has grown (mainly after Doncaster Show) and will continue to grow. We spent many months dreaming, and talking about getting our own online reptile site, I finally decided to do something about it. I looked at lots of different sites and shops, researched into it, spent hours with an ex-tutors pet store managment file. I decided to have a go at building the site myself, and I have done the majority of what you see. We have owned and bred many different species but in 2008 we decided to concentrate on Boa Constrictors. We already owned a few stunning morphs and our collection has grown from there. We currently live in the North West, United Kingdom with a nutty Bengal cat called Titch and a crazy Labradoodle called Shadow.
Becci I have kept animals for as long as I can remember, at a younger age it was mainly cats, guinea pigs, rabbits and the odd hamster, with my mum being a veterinary nurse our house always resembled a mini zoo. I got my first herps when I was 19, a pair of Bearded Dragons, I've been hooked ever since. I have a BTEC National Diploma in Animal Care, which I completed in 2001, and I am a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse working for an exotic referral veterinary practice. Before that I was a Lecturer in Animal Studies at a college, and I have also worked in Blackpool Zoo. I have gained a lot of experience working with many different types of animals. My main interest and passion is for locality Boa constrictor imperators.
Jake I have a BTEC National Diploma in Animal Management, ABC level 2 & 3, C&G Pet Store Management and I studied for a BSc in Animal Behaviour. I have always had an interest in aquatics and reptiles and bred many species over the years. My main interest is Boa constrictor morphs and Royal Pythons. I am looking to expand into GTPs and ETBs in the future as I have always had a soft spot for these stunning animals.
