J'n'B Boas is based in the Northwest of England. It is owned by Jake and Becci and was established in 2006. We originally started out keeping and breeding a variety of reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates, but over the years we have specialised in Boa Constrictors. It has taken a long time to source some of the finest boa constrictor morphs and purest locality boa constrictors but our collection only houses the best.

We also own a couple of nutty cats a Bengal called Titch, a Snow Bengal called Wade and a DSH called Spider Cat. We also have a crazy Labradoodle called Shadow.

BecciI have kept animals for as long as I can remember, at a younger age it was mainly cats, guinea pigs, rabbits and the odd hamster, with my mum being a veterinary nurse our house always resembled a mini zoo. I got my first herps when I was 19, a pair of Bearded Dragons, I've been hooked ever since.

I have a BTEC National Diploma in Animal Care, which I completed in 2001. I am a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse working for an exotic referral veterinary practice, and I hold a certificate in exotic animal nursing. Before that I was a Lecturer in Animal Studies at a college, and I have also worked in Blackpool Zoo. I have gained a lot of experience working with many different types of animals. My main interest and passion is for locality Boa constrictor imperators. I'm also the photographer :)

JakeI have a BTEC National Diploma in Animal Management, ABC level 2 & 3, C&G Pet Store Management and I studied for a BSc in Animal Behaviour. I have always had an interest in aquatics and reptiles and bred many species over the years. My main interest is Boa constrictor morphs and Cinnamon Gene Royal Pythons. I am looking to expand into GTPs and ETBs in the future as I have always had a soft spot for these stunning animals.

The JnB Boas Boa RoomsWe have spent the last 12 months replacing old racks and getting this to be how we want. We use a combination of Pro-Racks, Vision Racks and Polypropylene Vivariums all thermostatically controlled with Habi-Stat Pulse thermostats.

Room 1 - We need to add 2 levels to the Pro-Rack and a Vision Boa Rack and this room will be complete.
